From January 9th (Fri) to 12th (Mon), 2026, the world’s leading master watchmakers will gather in Tokyo for a one-of-a-kind exhibition featuring live demonstrations, "Masters of Horological Craftsmanship", held at SAI, RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK (Shibuya, Tokyo).

MIYASHITA PARK, located in the trend-setting district of Shibuya, is a stylish complex home to a range of luxury brands. On the third floor, the art gallery "SAI" features both Japanese and international art, providing a relaxed space to enjoy and appreciate the watches. It’s also just a short walk from Shibuya Station, making access easy.

This exhibition will feature a group of independent watchmakers—members of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI), known as the "God Hands"—and will also bring together Japan’s "Contemporary Master Craftsman," the winners of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), often referred to as the "Academy Awards" of the watch industry. This is a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the globally renowned watchmakers to gather in one place, showcasing their extraordinary craftsmanship up close alongside actual timepieces on display. This must-see event welcomes not only for watch enthusiasts, but also for professionals in Japan’s manufacturing industry and for the next generation watchmakers.

1.Live Demonstrations of Horological Techniques

Independent watchmakers—including AHCI members Raúl Pagès and Hajime Asaoka, as well as GPHG winners Takuma Kawauchiya and Jiro Katayama, will demonstrate their precise handcrafting techniques right before your eyes. This will include movement assembly and component fabrication, offering an exceptional opportunity to witness advanced horological skills up close.

2.Exhibition of Timepieces

Eight world-renowned watch brands will present their timepieces:
LEDERER, PAGÈS, GRAND SEIKO, CREDOR, Hajime Asaoka Tokyo Japan, TAKANO, KURONO TOKYO and ŌTSUKA LŌTEC

The exhibition will feature: the GPHG-winning timepieces, including the LEDERER “Central Impulse Chronometer”, GRAND SEIKO “Kodo Constant-force Tourbillon”, and OTSUKA LOTEC “No. 6”, as well as the winner of the first Louis Vuitton Watch Prize, PAGÈS “RP1”, the much-discussed CREDOR “Goldfeather” (GBBD943, GBBD944) and TAKANO “Chateau Nouvel Chronometer”, both gaining attention in globally. Also, the Hajime Asaoka "Tourbillon Noir" (2026) and OTSUKA LOTEC "No. 9" will be displayed for the first time.

What does the Pre-Register time slot mean?
The time slot indicates the time window in which you may enter the venue. Please arrive and check in during the designated time slot. Depending on crowd levels, your visit may be limited to a maximum of two hours.
Can I check the demonstration schedule in advance?
Demonstrations will be available throughout the entire exhibition period.

You will be able to see at least one demonstration within your reserved two-hour time slot.
Please note that demonstrations rotate between watchmakers, and there may be occasional breaks.
What should we do if we want to attend as a group of three or more?
Each reservation time slot allows entry for a maximum of two people. If you are attending as a group of three, please book two time slots within the same time window.
How long can I watch each demonstration?
There is no fixed duration, but each demonstration is planned to last at least 20 minutes and will be presented on a rotating schedule. Please note that duration may be limited during busy periods.
Is it possible to leave and re-enter during my visit?
Yes. When you re-entering, please present the phone screen or printed copy that you used upon your initial entry.
